Natural aluminum profile for placement on stairs, ramps or areas of passage of marble, terrazzo or similar in which you want to guarantee safety against falls. It is easily installed by making a cut with a standard disc in the pavement for its subsequent insertion and fixing by means of adhesive.
It can also be placed with ceramic as a spacer, joining the pieces to the end below the exposed face. Due to its geometry and its small size it can be placed individually or in a pattern, aesthetically integrating into the installation.
Available in natural aluminum.

Materials
Novostrip Aluminum is a profile made by extrusion of aluminum. The finish is natural, maintaining its natural shine. Aluminum is a material with excellent chemical and physical-mechanical properties. It is light, tough, ductile, malleable and highly durable.
Installation
Novostrip aluminum is very easy to install.
- Mark the place where you want to install the Novostrip. This profile is inserted in a slot along its entire length, so it will be necessary to identify the beginning and end to be able to draw a cut line.
- Make a 3mm disc cut along the line and at a depth of not less than 7mm.
- Remove dirt from groove and fill with polyurethane or similar putty type adhesive
- Insert the profile into the slot and make sure it is well embedded and flush with the surface
- Let dry. You can repeat this action to place as many contiguous profiles as you like, creating your own custom pattern.
This profile has been developed with high-thickness pavements in mind. However, it can be installed with paving
Cleaning and maintenance
Novostrip Aluminum is resistant to water and detergents. Cleaning should be done periodically with a soft, fiber-free cloth. If you choose to use a neutral cleaning liquid, it must be rinsed with cold water and dried to remove excess moisture. Stubborn soiling can be removed with suitable mildly abrasive cleaning agents.
The use of steel wool, abrasive or pickling products, as well as strong acids (hydrochloric and perchloric), strong bases (caustic soda or ammonia) or carbonated solutions is not recommended. Citric acid should also not be used as it dissolves the protective oxide layer on the aluminum surface. Waxes, petroleum jelly, lanolin or the like are not suitable. Haloalkane solvents (hydrofluoroethers or chlorinated solvents) and setting accelerators containing chlorides should be avoided (use non-chloride accelerators).
